PT KBI Wins Gold Award in Economic Pillar Category at TJSL & CSR Award 2024

PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (PT KBI) which is a member of the Danareksa BUMN Holding has won a Gold award in the Economic Pillar Category in the Environmental Social Responsibility and Corporate Social Responsibility (TJSL & CSR) Award 2024 held by BUMN Track at the Borobudur Hotel on Tuesday (30/07).

Carrying the theme "Through 4 Pillars of Development that Create Added Value for Sustainable Companies and MSMEs" PT KBI in collaboration with the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Biosystems, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), soybean farmer groups, business actors, and the Indonesian Local Soybean Community Association (Asmakara) received recognition for their dedication in managing the Integrated Farming System Program well to support the Warehouse Receipt ecosystem in Indonesia. With a commitment in the economic category given to the community, PT KBI also received the Strong Commitment CFO on Economic Program award which was awarded to Mr. Adiyasa Suhadibroto as Director of Finance and Risk Management.

Through the IFS program in the Yogyakarta and Central Java areas, PT KBI provides initial support for seeding, coaching, and mentoring in the production of superior soybeans. With a total cost of IDR 83,000,000 (Eighty Three Million Rupiah), this program has succeeded in involving 21 soybean farmers in 3 districts. Then, this year PT KBI will conduct research with the commodity ecosystem in Central Java, especially in Klaten, Boyolali and Sukoharjo Regencies, to reach more farmers and surrounding areas.

President Director of PT KBI, Budi Susanto said "We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to BUMN Track for organizing this activity. Hopefully this award can continue to spur our enthusiasm to develop TJSL programs in all operational areas that focus on developing local commodities while still paying attention to environmental preservation and sustainable community development."

Adiyasa Suhadibroto, Director of Finance and Risk Management of PT KBI, added that the implementation of TJSL PT KBI is in line with business management that prioritizes Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG), and supports the Sustainable Development Goals (TPB) or Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which provide benefits to the community.

The total distribution of TJSL until June 2024 is IDR. 324,739,396,- which is distributed in several programs, namely the Economic Pillar, Social Pillar, Education Pillar, and also BUMN Synergy. PT KBI is committed to being a partner that can provide sustainable added value to people's lives that are in line with the company's business.
