KBI Expands Role in Global Markets, Supports Indonesian Investor Access to US Stock Exchanges

Jakarta, October 27, 2025. PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia ("PT KBI"), part of Holding BUMN Danareksa, continues to strengthen its role in promoting the integration of national futures trading to the global level. This step is realized through a strategic collaboration between the Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) and Tickrs Financial Singapore, a foreign broker connected to the United States Stock Exchange (Nasdaq), to channel customer orders to overseas futures exchanges (PALN).

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the three parties—PT KBI, JFX, and Tickrs—was carried out at the "Capturing US Market Opportunity" event held by JFX in Jakarta on Monday, October 27, 2025. The event was also attended by representatives of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Head of Strategy & Planning at Tickrs Financial Singapore Pte. Ltd., Nicholas Lau, Head of Product Management and Support, APAC, Nasdaq, In Cher Boh; President Director of JFX, Yazid Kanca Surya; and President Director of PT KBI, Budi Susanto.

Through this collaboration, PT KBI acts as a clearing institution to ensure the security, transparency, and compliance of fund flows in every transaction conducted by Indonesian customers. Futures contract purchase transactions through Tickrs will be recorded on JFX, while the entire process of receiving and distributing funds is facilitated through PT KBI's clearing system, ensuring accountability and protection for customers.

This collaboration marks a synergy between the national futures trading infrastructure and the global ecosystem, opening broader access for domestic market players to invest in global instruments in a formal and regulated manner. "This collaboration with JFX and Tickrs is a crucial milestone in preparing an internationally competitive Indonesian futures trading ecosystem, while also increasing public literacy and trust in the futures industry," Budi added.

Through the PALN initiative, PT KBI affirms its commitment to strengthening Indonesian market connectivity with global markets, providing safe, compliant, and transparent investment access, and supporting the government's vision of expanding national investor participation on the international stage.
