Synergy between PT KBI and the University of Jakarta to Develop Students's Human Resources

PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia ("PT KBI") through its Tanggung Jawab Sosial Lingkungan (“TJSL”) unit, has established a strategic partnership with the University of Jakarta ("UNIJA") for a scholarship program for undergraduate students. This strategic program demonstrates PT KBI's commitment to supporting UNIJA students in gaining access to quality education and developing superior human resources towards the Golden Indonesia 2045.

The scholarship award ceremony was attended by the Foundation Chairperson, University of Jakarta Rector Syafiria Sa'ada Manaf, S.H., M.M., Vice Rector III Tantan Taufik Lubis, M.Sos., Director of Domestic Cooperation Wahab Talaohu, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Muhrojin, S.T., M.T., Ahmad Farhan Choirullah, M.A., Dean of the Faculty of Law, Head of the Faculty of Business Administration Marselinus S.E., M.M., M.H., scholarship recipients, and representatives from PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia.

In an interview with reporters on September 10, 2025, University of Jakarta Rector Syafiria Sa'ada Manaf, S.H., M.M., expressed her appreciation and gratitude to all parties who contributed to the distribution of the scholarships. She hoped that this scholarship program would motivate students to further excel in their academics.

Meanwhile, Dedi Sopyan, a representative of PT KBI, who also serves as Head of Corporate Secretary and Head of the TJSL Unit, explained that as a state-owned enterprise, PT KBI is committed to providing benefits for sustainable development in the economic, social, environmental, legal, and corporate governance sectors.

"One of PT KBI's ongoing programs is the Education Priority Program, which provides scholarships or educational advancement assistance. We believe that the best investment is investment in education. Our hope is that through scholarships for UNIJA students, we will produce a generation of young people who are globally competitive, innovative, and able to make positive contributions to the nation and society," said Dedi.

He also added, "The scholarships awarded are not only interpreted as financial support, but also as a long-term investment in developing superior human resources who will become drivers of economic and social progress in society."
