PT KBI Strengthens Priority Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Programs

Throughout 2025, PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia ("PT KBI"), a member of the Danareksa State-Owned Enterprise Holding, has implemented several Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs aligned with the company's business, focusing on increasing warehouse receipt commodity productivity, farmer empowerment, education, and community social support. These programs demonstrate KBI's commitment to encouraging the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices and improving the welfare of farmers in various regions.

All initiatives are implemented through a collaborative approach with smallholder farmers on existing land, ensuring that each activity provides direct benefits without involving new land expansion, while also strengthening the sustainable agricultural ecosystem. PT KBI believes that business progress must align with community empowerment and environmental sustainability.

Through our integrated TJSL programs, we not only provide assistance but also create a self-sufficient and sustainable ecosystem. Our commitment to a sustainable agricultural sector is also continuously demonstrated through a rolling fund program for soybean cultivation. Following the success of Batch II, launched in collaboration with Gajah Mada University (UGM) and the Indonesian Local Soybean Community Association (Asmakara), where 73 farmers increased their yields by 43.48% (from 9 tons to 21 tons) and improved quality by 28.45%, PT KBI is now preparing to continue the program with Batch III. The sustainability of this program is expected to further strengthen the local soybean supply chain in Bayat District, Klaten Regency, and Karangwuni District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java.

Beyond soybeans, PT KBI's commitment to reforestation and sustainable commodity development continues through the planting of Batch II coffee seeds in Garut. This collaboration is with the Tanah Air Semesta Foundation, an organization focused on reforestation, agroforestry, education, and community empowerment, which is also part of Klasik Beans Kopi. The sustainability of this program is not just about land expansion, but part of PT KBI's long journey to build a sustainable and economically valuable coffee ecosystem. PT KBI's coffee reforestation journey begins with phased achievements:

2024: Initial initiatives have been realized, with the reforestation of 500 coffee and endemic trees for Batch I in early 2025, involving assisted farmers from the Forest Farmers Group (KTH) and the Yayasan Tanah Air Semesta reforestation team;
2025: Planting of Batch II, consisting of 600 coffee and endemic tree seedlings, was carried out in early December 2025.
This program specifically focuses on promoting coffee as a warehouse receipt commodity, aiming to increase added value and market access for farmers. With warehouse receipts, farmers have the tools to better manage selling prices, ultimately boosting their welfare in a sustainable manner and environmental sustainability, particularly by creating sustainable green forests.

PT KBI's Director of Finance and Risk Management, Adiyasa Suhadibroto, emphasized that these programs represent the company's social investment in building a better future. "Support for soybean and coffee farmers is our investment in food security and the people's economy," he said.

In addition to empowerment programs in the agricultural sector, PT KBI also participates in humanitarian efforts in response to natural disasters. Through a synergy initiated by PT Danareksa (Persero) and 13 subsidiaries, the Danareksa State-Owned Enterprise Holding distributed 5 tons of rice and basic food packages to 18,500 families affected by flash floods. The Food Security Basic Food Packages were distributed specifically to five areas surrounding the Medan Industrial Estate ("KIM"), which are members of the Danareksa State-Owned Enterprise Holding: Tangkahan Village, Mabar Hilir Village, Titipapan Village, Pematang Johar Village, and Saentis Village. This assistance demonstrates the company's concern and solidarity in helping communities meet basic needs during emergencies, while also strengthening the role of state-owned enterprises in providing tangible benefits to the community.

Within the CSR social pillar and coinciding with the commemoration of National Disability Day, PT KBI distributed wheelchairs to dozens of people with disabilities. to the Secretariat of the Indonesian Association of People with Physical Disabilities (PPDFI) Cijantung Center in East Jakarta. This assistance symbolizes and demonstrates the company's commitment to improving the mobility and quality of life for people with disabilities, and fosters a more inclusive and equitable environment for all levels of society.

As of November 2025, PT KBI recorded a 24% year-on-year growth in multilateral transaction volume and a 22% year-on-year growth in bilateral transactions. Furthermore, as the Warehouse Receipt Registration Center, PT KBI also recorded 35,767 tons of commodities registered in its warehouses throughout Indonesia.
