The Commodity Futures Trading system incorporates facilities that support the execution of transactions. The systems utilized for the supervision and management of market participant data are SITNa and SKD. SITNa (Customer Transaction Information System) is a system used to record and monitor all customer transactions in the futures market in real-time. This system ensures that every transaction activity undertaken by customers can be transparently monitored by relevant parties. SITNa also serves as a supervisory tool to prevent non-compliant practices, such as illegal activities. Through this system, regulators can view transaction activities with greater accuracy and speed, thereby minimizing unexpected risks (Bappebti, 2022).
SKD (Derivative Clearing System) is an application used to support the execution of derivative clearing functions within Commodity Futures Trading. The system encompasses processes ranging from the calculation of rights and obligations and transaction recording to the settlement of transactions executed by market participants. In addition to supporting clearing operations, SKD serves as a monitoring tool that helps identify irregular transaction patterns, including potential fraud and default risks. Consequently, supervision can be conducted more effectively, and potential risks can be anticipated at an early stage. Both systems operate under the supervision of the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (BAPPEBTI) and constitute a vital part of the supervisory infrastructure for commodity futures trading, alongside PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia. SITNa focuses on the detailed recording and monitoring of transactions, whereas SKD focuses on risk management and the early detection of potential violations. Together, they render the futures trading system more controlled, transparent, and secure for all market participants (Bappebti, 2022).
